Range Safety Officer - March 8
The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. To become a NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.
This class starts at 9 am and goes until 5 pm, and open to any club member who is interested in firearm range safety processes and procedures. We need more RSOs to be available to help out at rifle, pistol, and trap events. There is no cost for this training. For questions and to sign up, contact John Clark at (608) 386-0246.

Images from the latest Youth Handgun Safety Class. First some classroom instruction, the boys and girls get strict and personal instruction on the safe handling and operation of various handguns. Safe operating knowledge is powerful, while ignorance is incredibly dangerous.
