Our archery range has bale targets from 20 yards out to 40 yards. Currently the bales are field point only. There is a sand pile adjacent to the 30 yard targets. You can attach targets to the wires and shoot into the sand with your broadheads. There is also a crossbow bag target adjacent to the 40 yard bale target. Do not shoot crossbows at the bale targets.
Yearly, our club hosts two 3-D archery shoots in the spring, featuring Rinehart targets. Our shoots are always open to the public. The course is 30 targets, set up in the woods with a variety of animals, deer, bear, turkey, dinosaurs, etc. featuring realistic hunting scenarios. As you walk the path and come to each animal, each person gets one shot. There are scoring rings on the target, the better the shot the higher the score. The event is open to members and non-members. No prize money or plaques are given away, so no pressure! Grab a few friends and come out for the fun.
There are new archery bales on the practice range for field points only, and for vertical bows only. NO BROADHEADS are to be used on the bale targets. There is a sand pile adjacent to the 30 yard target. Cardboard targets can be attached to the wires in front of the sand. The sand will stop the arrows and not damage them.
There is now also a crossbow bag target adjacent to the 40 yard bale target. Please do not shoot your crossbow at the regular bale targets. Your bolts may be impossible to pull out without damaging them.
